An article in the Half Moon Bay Review omitted the fact that Seaside School is privately owned. The next week they printed a letter to the editor, pointing out the error. (Thank you, Review for printing it! Thank you Sheri for writing it!)

In the fast paced technological environment of today, news articles and press releases can change so that direct links to the online versions may not at this moment be the same as they were originally in print.

The article mentioned above was based on a January 14, 2004 Peninsula Open Space Trust press release about their acquisiton of Seaside School Ridge. Later, POST was able to clarify their online version of the press release by adding (about Seaside School itself) The school is now used by the family that owns it for family gatherings.
